A factory reset erases all the User's data from your lock, restoring it to its original, out-of-the-box settings. Any fingerprints or codes can unlock the ULTRALOQ Smart Lock in the factory default mode.
Step 1. Reset a ULTRALOQ Smart Lock via the Xthings Home(Formerly U home) App
If you pair the ULTRALOQ Smart Lock to the Xthings Home(Formerly U home) App, the Xthings Home(Formerly U home) App remembers the registered information, and you need to follow the steps below to erase the data from the Xthings Home(Formerly U home) App.
Step 1. Open the Xthings Home(Formerly U home) App and go to the device list on your phone.
Step 2. Select the device you wish to reset and click the Settings menu (gear icon).
Step 3. Scroll down and choose Remove Device.
Step 4. Click OK.
Step 5. Go back to the device list to check whether the lock is removed.
Step 2. Reset a ULTRALOQ Smart Lock via the Reset Button
Use the Reset needle to push the Reset button for around 10 seconds until you hear one long and two short beeps or voice notifications.
Where is the Reset Button?
The reset button is at the bottom of the Interior Assembly.
ULTRALOQ UL3 Series & ULTRALOQ Latch 5 Series
Remove the battery cover, and the reset button is above the Battery Box.
ULTRALOQ Lever
Remove the battery cover, and the reset button is at the bottom of the battery box.
ULTRALOQ UL1/Combo
The reset button is on the side of the interior assembly.
ULTRALOQ UL300
Remove the battery cover; the reset button is on the upper right of the Battery Box.
How do we know if a reset was successful?
When the lock is in the factory default mode, any fingerprints/codes/keyfobs can unlock your ULTRALOQ Smart Lock.
